Toby Allen
Hey there, I'm Toby, and I am the producer for The Audio Lab, Ipswich UK. I have been playing and recording guitars for over 20 years. The more I played, wrote, and recorded in bands, the more I found that I enjoyed the recording part the most, and I began working with other bands, helping them craft their own records!

My passion lies in metal, punk, and all the adjoining and adjacent subgenres.

Unable to find a local studio that could cater to the styles and sounds I wanted for the polished but savage metal I was aiming for, I decided to learn production for myself and immersed myself in everything that entails. Now, I'm able to help other bands craft their songs in way that resonates with their listeners, producing and engineering guitar, bass, drums, and vocals to make them sounds HUGE.
Simply put, I love making music, and love helping others make music too.
Buhimoth Studios is my home studio which is based in Sudbury, Suffolk, and this is where much of my mixing and editing happens. But now that I am the producer at The Audio Lab in Ipswich, that is now my base for pre-production, producing, and recording.
